About the Firm

Lance Cline, Kevin Farrell, Lee Christie and Kathy Lee have been practicing law together for more than 20 years.  In 1993, they founded their own firm, Cline Farrell Christie & Lee.  In 1996, Tim Caress joined the firm and the five of us have practiced together ever since.  We have devoted our entire legal careers to representing individuals and families who have suffered injury and loss as a result of another's negligence.  We are deeply committed not only to our clients, but our larger community as well.

In 2001, we purchased the building that our office occupies, offically known as the Bals-Wocher House.  The Bals-Wocher House, built in 1869, is considered one of the finest examples of Italianate architecture in Indianapolis.  Established on the National Historic Register in 1979, the Bals-Wocher House was originally built by Charles H.G. Bals, a German immigrant.

The house was expanded and used from 1916 to 1975 by Hisey and Titus funeral directors.  Thereafter, various tenants occupied all or portions of the house until our law firm purchased the building in April 2001.  We are quite proud of our home.  It is truly a unique building that is reflective of our firm's stability and longstanding commitment to  our clients and our community, both now and for years to come.
